St. Joseph Provincial House was recently honored with a visit by Fr. Greg Gay, Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission. Father Gay is responsible for the entire Vincentian Family — the Daughters and of Charity, Ladies of Charity, Vincentian Priests and Brothers, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Marian Youth, Vincentian Service Corps and several other organizations calling on Vincent as patron. This occasion was celebrated with a Eucharistic Liturgy and feast day meal.

A native of Maryland, Father Gay was vacationing at home and brought several family members to visit friends in St. Catherine’s and the Villa. Villa St. Michael was Father’s first assignment after Ordination so he fondly visits each opportunity that presents itself.

Father Gay resides in Rome when not visiting the Vincentian Community around the world. Previous to his election, Father served as a priest in Central America. He is a member of the Eastern Province of the Congregation of the Mission.
