Sister Incorporated into the Seminary
Joyous Mass Celebrates Service of
Sister Elizabeth Sjoberg, D.C.
EMMITSBURG, MD ~ August 12, 2007
Liz Sjoberg’s incorporation liturgy was a wonderful experience for all who were able to attend. The incorporation was held at the Provincial House on Sunday, August 12, at the regular 9:00 am Liturgy. Liz’s family members, parishioners from St. Jane Francis Parish in Pasadena, Maryland, and a huge number of young people who were her college friends, as well as friends from the Youth Apostles and the Capuchin Volunteers, of which she was a part, significantly swelled the crowd of the usual group of persons who frequent this Mass.
The contagious joy of Sister Elizabeth Ann (Liz) gave witness to one eager to serve Christ in those who are marginalized. We hope that Sister Liz's generosity will inspire others to follow in her footsteps. Liz went on a home visit before leaving for the Seminary in Evansville. The Seminary opened on August 26. Many prayers accompanied her.
