350th Anniversary

The 350th anniversary of the deaths of Saint Vincent and Saint Louise has begun.  Celebrations evoke gratitude for the past, strengthen commitment to the present, and generate hope for the future.

As we celebrate the 350th anniversary of the deaths of Vincent and Louise, it is not so much their death that we want to remember, but the culmination of their lives that left a mark in history. They were both great prophets and icons of charity.

Did You Know?


The Daughters of Charity St. Joseph's Provincial House in Emmitsburg has 14 entities, including the Seton Retreat Center and the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine. They all work together to carry on the tradition and works of Saint Vincent de Paul, Saint Louise de Marillac, and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.
